So I have not posted in so long....the semester is almost over, last class this Thursday for finals, summer class starts June, but just taking 1 credit and on-line too... then August Biology... not ready for that one. Found out that there is no waiting list for dental program, so I can apply for the fall semester in September.. then 8 months of dental and get my certification... Cant wait.. then go back to finish up and get my associates degree... That was a mouth full.
School is almost over for the kids. Robert Graduates the sixth grade on May 26th. Wow... I remember his first day of Kindergarten like it was just yesterday, Now he's going off to middle school. ( In my day we called it JR. High, and we had elective classes...Not any more, I am corrected by the kids all the time) Makes me feel old. Caidence is ready to move on to second grade..she is enrolled to a summer program this year for July and August, trying to keep her on track, so second grade wont be as challenging as first..... although, I think she enjoyed the majority of her first grade year...
What else happened...... Oh... our desert tortoise drowned...... and lived...... he fell into our pond out in the front, and he must have been there for hours ... poor litttle guy...tortoise CPR, and a good dose of the vet, and five daily shots.... two weeks later, he looks like he's doing great... Eating and criusin around, back to normal...Lucky little guy...
Posting pictures next... As always....have a grateful and peaceful day...thanks for lookin'

1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1.Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2.In large bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Gradually beat in sugar until a little of the mixture between your thumb and forefinger feels smooth, not gritty. Stir in vanilla. Pipe or spoon small portions onto baking tray and bake 35 minutes, or until dry but not brown. Turn off oven and leave meringues to cool inside.

"What's Going On?"
Rob found this little guy at his work ( downtown) and calls me to pick him up so we can find him a new home. When I get down there this little guy looked so sad, besides the missing eye and out of whack jaw, hes dirty and smells like tires. Him and Rob must have took a liking to each other he fallowed Rob all around, and when he was working on a project Rob would have his co-workers watch him. So Kayla and I bring him home, give him a good flee and tick bath ( by the way I don't know if this dog ever has touched water before because he just freaked out!!) He cleaned up real nice. Its unbelievable how well mannered this guy is, he likes our dogs, doesn't bother our cat, house trained, and a nice little guy. So meet Chancho.
